Nutritional yeast flakes are grown in molasses, under carefully controlled conditions, free of Candida albicans yeast. They are made from primary, inactive yeast, do not foam, do not swell and are not sour like common yeast. It does not contain artificial preservatives, dyes or fragrances. They are used as a spice in sauces, soups, cereals or smoothies. It can be added to any meal (1-2 tablespoons).
