Psyllium is a soluble fiber. It comes from a shrub that grows all over the world, but is more common in India. Its laxative properties are due to the swelling of the skin when it comes in contact with water. Use: Adults and children over 12 years: Dissolve a full tablespoon (6g) in a glass of water or juice and drink immediately. It is taken between 2 meals 1-2 times a day with plenty of water, preferably in the evening.
