Method
For vegan “Tuna” Salad:
• Soak the chickpeas in water overnight.
• The next day, drain the chickpeas and boil them according to the instructions on the package.
• Peel and finely chop the onion and celery.
• In a blender, add the boiled chickpeas together with all the rest ingredients for the vegan “tuna” salad and beat for 2-3 ', until it creates a uniform result.
For the sandwich:
• Heat the olive oil in a pan.
• Add the slices of toast bread and let them brown, turning them on both sides and making sure the lid is closed, in low heat.
• Wash the lettuce, clean and slice the tomato and the onions.
• Add the lettuce to the bread, then the tomato, the vegan tuna salad and the onions.
• Optionally accompany with fresh, green salad and enjoy!
Extra Tip: If you want a “sea flavor” intense, you can add another tbsp. of grated nori leaves.
